About two weeks ago, Shirley waltzed into our lives and quickly found a home in our hearts. We were smitten right off the bat, and before we could say "Shirley, drop it!" she had already won us over. Sure, she has a tendency to eat everything in sight - from crayons to very large stuffed penguins - but she is still the sweetest, most adorable little thing. We aren't sure how long she will be with us, as we are currently fostering her until she finds another home. But she has brought so much joy into all of our lives and we can't help but love her to pieces. A family came to look at her this week, which made us all a bit nervous. Fortunately, though, it wasn't a good fit. It must have been the talk we had beforehand - I told her to be on her worst behavior :)
